We are currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber Multi Trader to join a busy Voids Team working within the Social Housing sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering high-quality repairs and refurbishment works on behalf of local authorities and housing associations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out plumbing repairs and multi-trade works within empty social housing properties, ensuring homes are brought back up to lettable standard efficiently and to a high quality.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out all aspects of plumbing repairs within void properties
  • Bathroom and kitchen replacements/repairs
  • Pipework, radiators, taps, sinks, toilets and drainage works
  • Basic multi-trade duties including:
    • Carpentry repairs
    • Patch plastering
    • Tiling
    • Painting & making good
  • Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard
  • Working independently across a designated patch
  • Maintaining strong health & safety standards

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing (preferred)
  • Proven experience working in social housing or domestic maintenance
  • Experience within void properties highly desirable
  • Multi-trade experience advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
